“This location is hands down amazing. Jacaranda smiles all together is a great company! I’ve been coming since I was about 10 y/o and now I am 29 and bring my daughter here. First time bringing her to this location and my daughter had such a beautiful experience.”

“LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS DENTIST. They are always kind and patient. The Margate location is closer to my house. Before finding out about the Margate location I drove to Plantation, it was so worth it. If I could give 10 stars, I would.”

FAQ

What type of toothpaste and toothbrushes should my child use?

Use a toothbrush with soft bristles. Use soft pressure for two minutes twice a day. Toothpastes with ADA seal of acceptance always have fluoride, which strengthens and protects teeth. For children under 2 years, use a small smear of toothpaste, about the size of a grain of rice. For children older than 2 years, use a pea-size of toothpaste.

When should my child first visit the dentist?

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends your first dental visit when your first tooth erupts, or no later than your first birthday.

Does my child really need floss?

Yes, children need to clean around their teeth daily to clear food and plaque from between teeth and under the gumline.

What are the early signs of dental trouble?

Mouth sores, jaw pain, redness, tooth sensitivity, and dry mouth are early indicators of dental trouble.

Are dental X-rays safe and needed?

Sometimes X-rays are needed to diagnose a dental problem. However, today’s advancements in technology mean today’s digital X-rays release much less radiation and are safer than the past.
